I was born in Kalamazoo, Michigan and grew up in Muskegon, and then in Portage, Michigan, were I graduated from Portage Northern HS in 1978.

I have lived in Jacksonville, Florida since 1980, I was a Navy barber in the mid 1980's, and I am married to the greatest wife in the world.

I am a passionate Michigan Wolverines fan, and I root for all the pro sports teams in Detroit, especially my beloved Detroit Tigers, the team of my youth.
