My name is Carlos Figueiredo and I'm a New Jersey Devils fan. I've been a fan of the Devils since the day they relocated to New Jersey. "Fan" is a word that's thrown around a lot, but it takes a true diehard fan to want to talk about their team every day. While talking about the Devils is something I've always done, being able to write about the Devils is something I've started to do recently, and something I've truly enjoyed.

If you're reading this, chances are you've also seen my Devils blog at www.speakingofthedevils.com. Like I mentioned, there are few things I enjoy more than talking hockey, specifically Devils hockey, and being able to blog about my favorite team has brought me together with tons of new people with which to discuss hockey.

When I was approached by Bleacher Report to be the Devils Columnist, I was excited to accept the invitation, and I hope I can not only provide some exciting stories and Devils discussions, but also to continue to come across more of the fantastic fans of the NHL, and the New Jersey Devils.
