About

I have been writing about hockey for the past three years for Wild Nation (http://wildnation.hockeyprimetime.com) and for Hockey Primetime (http://www.hockeyprimetime.com). I graduated from the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, Minnsota in 2000 and am an avid hockey fan, open to all discussion regarding all forms of the sport.

    Hey,

It's a tiny bit late as it took longer than expected to write it, but my review of 2009 is finally here! Last year's one won the AOTD award and hopefully I've done enough on this one to equal that feat, but I'll leave you to be the judge of that!

With 25 great moments from 12 different sports, and with everyone from Barcelona to France, the Yankees to the Lakers, and Usain Bolt to Tiger Woods there is something for everyone in this slideshow, plus a ranked top ten as the final slide!

If you get a chance would you mind checking it out? Cheers!

Thanks for reading and responding to my article, Blake. I don't think the Blades' owner owns the building so he might object but not be able to stop any games played in Saskatoon. And though the folding and transferring of junior teams is common, some cities (Ottawa, Vancouver, Calgary) have managed to successfully have both an NHL and CHL franchise in the same city for many years. I think that would be true for Saskatoon even if the Coyotes were to play all their games there permanently. Too many locals have sons who want to reach the NHL via the CHL and would support a junior team even with an NHL franchise, especially if it is only for a precarious five games. I think the juniors would still make a profit, but not as much as before.

Man, it's nice to read some in depth analysis about the Wild! You do a good job covering the team, lets just hope they turn things around here.

I'm wondering if you would have any interest in also posting on my new site, www.wiscosotasports.com? It is a Wisconsin & Minnesota sports fan community that will cover all of the big 4 sports, but Wild and WCHA hockey, etc will definitely be a big part of it. You would obviously have a lot to contribute.

Let me know if you're interested at all, we'd love to have you on board to get the hockey content rolling!
