I am an avid sports fan. I've read all of the books, watched the movies ("A League of Their Own" is the best), been to the Olympics, the World Series, the NBA play-offs and scores of tennis and golf matches. I know when to make the squeeze play and when to hold the runner at first; I may not be able to dribble through my legs, but don't let me free on the baseline for a three-pointer; I would rather throw the bomb on a post pattern than crash through the line. I play 18 on Super Bowl Sunday while others are priming their cocktails, go to the gym three times a week and play b-ball every Saturday. For me, it ain't over 'til it's over!
Rich, so good to hear from you! I became inspired at a young age thanks to a certain coach taking us out to Shakey's for winning at a young age. Something about those mojo potatoes, I suppose ;).
Let's catch up soon!
