MLB 9s: Kansas City Royals—George Brett, Carlos Beltran Top Voting

I am a 25-year-old journalist and Mets fan living in Brooklyn, having moved from England in June 2009.
I am obsessed with baseball, basketball, New York sports and statistics.
I am excited to report that I am no longer set for another season of sleepless nights in front of the computer watching internet streams of sports games happening 2,500 miles away from me when I have to be at work a mere few hours after they conclude.
This summer I married my beautiful fiancee Lisa, and now I have the daunting task of trying to move all of our belongings into our new apartment.
I studied for my BA (hons) in journalism at the University of Central Lancashire in England and at SUNY Plattsburgh in upstate New York.
For the last three years I worked as a journalist at a weekly newspaper in Yorkshire, England. I was highly commended in the Young Journalist of the Year category at the 2009 Yorkshire and Humber o2 Press Awards and I was shortlisted to the final five of the Yorkshire Press Awards in the features category.
I also worked as a freelance for Sky Sports (www.skysports.com) writing live minute-by-minute English Premier League football commentaries, rugby reports and horse writing pieces.
My other passions consist of box scores, traveling, writing, skiing and bacon... not necessarily in that order.
Ah, totally didn't realize it wasn't just "Best Statistical Season." As for the other positions, I'll admit, I would only stat check in cases where I...
Although I'm not entirely convinced he's the better candidate, I still think Craig Biggio in 1991 deserved mention for the catcher title (he played 139 games...
One question, hundreds of answers: Which Royal had the greatest offensive season at his position? Major League baseball has been asking fans this same question in an effort to choose each team's best-ever collection of stars...

Hey Ash,
The BBWAA displayed criminal ineptitude in the NL Cy Young vote. Check out the article, if you get the chance:

Ash,
Pick your pleasure. You can either check out my recap of the fabulous Dolphins win over the Panthers last night, or my preview of the upcoming contest between the Heat and the Raptors; or you could check them both out.
If you have the time to check either of them out, let me know what you think…lol

Ash, after the Henry handball yesterday, I have decided that replay must be implemented in the beautiful game somehow. Please tell me your reaction.

Since all else has failed, I see no reason for the Knicks not to sign Allen Iverson.

Ash,
I'd love to chip in on this one. Let me know what you need from me, and when. I'm interviewing with the Flint Journal tomorrow at 3pm, so hopefully I'll reach syndicated status like yourself. Thanks for the offer. Did you read my piece on Porcello?
Best regards,

Yeah that's true. Writing sports historical articles are the best way to learn about sports history.
It must take a lot of time and research to do those articles.
As always, nice job. Looking forward to reading more of your work.
