I am a 27-year-old journalist and Mets fan living in Brooklyn, New York.
I work for MLB Advanced Media as an editorial producer on their MiLB website, and I also write for AOL-ran Patch. I have worked as a paid editor here on B/R and been featued in Ultimate Athlete Magazine on Long Island.
I am obsessed with baseball, tennis, basketball, New York sports, winter sports, the Olympic Games and statistics.
I studied for my BA (hons) in journalism at the University of Central Lancashire in England and State University of New York in Plattsburgh.
Between 2006 and 2009 I worked as a journalist at a weekly newspaper in Yorkshire, England. I was highly commended in the Young Journalist of the Year category at the 2009 Yorkshire and Humber o2 Press Awards and I was shortlisted to the final five of the Yorkshire Press Awards in the features category.
I also worked as a freelance journalist for Sky Sports (www.skysports.com) writing live minute-by-minute English Premier League football commentaries, rugby reports and horse writing pieces.
My other passions consist of box scores, traveling, writing, skiing and bacon... not necessarily in that order.
