10 Things New York Yankee Fans Can Do in October
August 12, 2008
Shawn was born a child of the 80's in upstate New York. Growing up a Yankees fan he learned the lessons of losing early watching the likes of Pat Kelly and Gerald Williams. He also learned many hard lessons watching Dave Brown quarterback the Giants to their height of mediocrity (Not quite good enough to make the playoffs but too good for a decent draft pick). Luckily, his adolescence brought the Yankees Dynasty and now he forgets what it feels like for his team not to make the playoffs. Shawn stayed in upstate New York and graduated from SUNY Albany in 2005 with a degree in American History. He attended graduate school at Franciscan University and now resides in Pittsburgh, PA watching Penguins hockey but still remaining faithful to his beloved Yankees and Giants. Shawn was a gym class All Star in high school. Unfortunately, a injury to his pride during a tenth grade baseball try out ended his dream of playing professionally. His favorite numbers are 18 and 1.
