Name is Kris Krug. Graduated from the University of Nebraska-Kearney in 2012 with a degree in Sports Broadcasting. I spent my final semester of school down at the University of Tennessee. While attending UNK I was the voice of the athletic teams as well as sports Director of 91.1 KLPR.
Upon Graduation of college I took a job in Tennessee at Smoky Mountain Speedway in Maryville, TN as the Public Address Announcer as well as an intern at Volunteer Speedway in Bulls Gap, TN. During that summer I covered racing around the East Tennessee area. Followed the Ultimate Super Late Model Series as well as the Southern All Star Series. Both Series include drivers such as Vic "the thrill" Hill, Billy Ogle Jr., Ray Cook, Chris Madden, Tommy Tether and many other huge names in dirt track racing. Had the honor of calling Trevor Bayne's first EVER dirt track late model race. Currently I work at a radio station in Knoxville, Iowa covering Iowa High School football in the Marion County area and will be covering Knoxville Raceway this spring/summer. I Look to cover NASCAR in the near future.
