Well for the left side, we have Schmelzer and Dudziak as the main two full back options (most people want Dudziak to start, he looks really promising). Then for wingers, well Reus, Kagawa, Hofmann, Mkhitaryan and Kampl could all play there if necessary
Kevin brings spirit, passion and versatility, but not much else. For a club that needs to be challenging for the title, we can't afford to have average players like him. Honestly, I don't care too much, I always got nervous when he was in the starting eleven
Lahm's Fussbolgott powers are best used as a RB.
I can't believe Schweinsteiger is going to united
I can't see Klopp going to Napoli to be honest. Maybe Liverpool or Arsenal in a year depending on what they do with Rodgers and Wenger. Mainly because he said that he would most likely go to a country where he can speak the language, England or Germany.
Nothing's guaranteed about Geis yet. Of course he's going to give Kampl chances, because we just bought him this year for a good sum of money. And Immobile is very talented, so giving him a proper chance is justified as well.
I think we will play a possession based football against smaller teams but the difference is, he won't make us keep a high line and he will improve our finishing first and foremost.Tuchel will probably buy based on that need.
Quite honestly I really don't know. If there's one thing I know from watching Tuchel's tactics at Mainz, is that he is very pragmatic. He adjusts his tactics to suit the team he's playing against. I think Thomas will most likely start our redevelopment by introducing newer tactics while facing smaller teams. Because he's seen our problems this season, how small teams learned to beat our Gegenpressing. He'll probably introducing a more defensive approach, not leading a high line like we used to. The emphasis on defense+counter attacking will be brought back, and he'll also look to improve our finishing dramatically. But, at the same he'll also know that we are used to our gegenpressing, so he'll get in some of that as well. It'll be a mix of tactics. Even though I don't know what kind of signings he will make, I'm 100% sure Tuchel won't disappoint tactically.
I am, as much as I like Klopp, everyone could see his tactical rigidity, and that he had run out of ideas. Tuchel is proabably the most promising young german manager, and most importantly, he is flexible. So yes, I am optimistic we will be challenging again.
