Northwestern Women's Basketball Earns Signature Win over No. 15 DePaul
11/26/2009
I'm a senior at Northwestern University majoring in Broadcast Journalism.
I do a lot of work for both the NU student radio and TV stations' sports departments.
My most memorable play by play was NU's 22-17 win over Iowa in 2008.
My most memorable college football game ever is the 2008 Alamo Bowl. I did color commentary for that game, and nearly went absolutely insane after the missed field goal sent the game into OT.
I'm originally from Seattle, Washington, and my favorite sport is baseball. But ever since I arrived on the NU campus in 2006, I've fallen in love with college football. There's nothing like the build-up to the next big game. I dream of one day seeing the Purple go back to Pasadena (in the meantime, I'll just take a bowl win.)

Nice article and it was great for NU fans to finally have a reason to rush the field and celebrate with the team.
My final regular season game at Ryan Field was a dream come true. Prior to this game, all of NU's thrilling victories since 2006 had been on the road. 2007 Michigan State, 2008 Iowa, 2008 Minnesota, and 2009 Iowa come to mind...
