About

Name: Rob Brown
Hometown: New Orleans, La.
Location: Shalimar, Fl.
Occupation: Sports talk radio show host

I've worked in sports talk radio for over 3 years at this point, and have loved every minute of it. My station is WTKE 98.1 FM "The Ticket" out of Ft. Walton Beach, with a listening area that includes Pensacola, Ft. Walton Beach, Panama City, and as far as Mobile.

I'm a Florida State and Louisiana State fan - I was born in New Orleans, Louisiana, and moved to the Sunshine State when I was younger and more easily influenced - so my allegiances were split between those two great universities.

On the professional side, I'm a New Orleans Saint through and through. The good times, the bad times ... mostly the bad times ... I can be seen proudly sporting my black and gold and fleur-de-lis jerseys and shirts without hesitation. I love my team like I love my family. It's a New Orleans thing - they just become part of you and you can't shake them, no matter how poorly they play.

I'm a fan of basketball as well - I grew up playing hoops and I will always hold a special place in my heart for the hardwood. I'm a Hornets fan (keeping with the New Orleanian pattern,) and love watching FSU and LSU hoops as well. March is without a doubt the greatest month of the year because of the Madness.
