About

I was born and raised in Northern California, with a deep love for the San Francisco 49ers, San Francisco Giants, San Jose Sharks, and Golden State Warriors. Also, somewhere along the way I became a die-hard soccer fan, and I support Tottenham Hotspur. I graduated in August 2009 from the University of California- Santa Barbara with a degree in Political Science, yet my first love is writing and I hope all of you will enjoy my column!

    Erik,

I enjoyed reading your Cameroon pieces a few weeks back. You clearly know what you're talking about even better than a lot of the people who are paid for their supposed expertise on African football.

I just wanted to let you know, in case yo uhaven't been keeping up with BR's World Cup coverage, that they've really improved the individual team pages in the last couple weeks, and Cameroon's page is coming along nicely.

I've been shouldering the lion's (Lions'?) share of the burden of keeping people up-to-date on Cameroon here at BR--a task that I enjoy--but with your analytical ability and knowledge, I bet the Cameroon team page would benefit from another regular or semi-regular contributor.

I don't know if you have any thoguhts on the Roger Milla-Samuel Eto'o controversy, on the final 23-man roster, or on some of the surprise faces in the starting 11, but it would be a breath of fresh air to see another perspective and someone else's name attached to a column or two.
