About Kelsie »

Hey all! My name is Kelsie and I'm currently a senior at PSU studying public relations. I'm a die hard Penn State football fan, and I'm lovin' the fact that I have season tickets again this year! That's me on the left with one of my good friends, tailgating as the PSU v. Ohio State game!

I'll be an editing intern here at b/r for the next three months, and hopefully I can give you guys a different angle on college football, and the college football experience, while I'm a part of the team.

WE ARE....PENN STATE!!!

Hope you'll check out my latest work on my good friend and the talented weightlifter, Marilou Dozois-Prevost!

She'll be competing in this weekend's World Weightlifting Championships, so I hope you'll chime in and enjoy learning about her as well as her expectations for the event and the London 2012 Games!

Kelsie, thanks for the edit. But sorry, I have to disagree with you on a number of the commas you inserted in my piece, and have taken some out. I don't think they are necessary before an 'and' of just two words?
And millennia is the plural of millennium.

Thank you for the edit and the kind comments, Kelsie.

I'm sure you had a great trip in the Old Continent. How much time did you spend in Paris?

Kelsie,

I really thought you’d find this piece something you’d want to read on this Veteran’s Day.

An Article/rant that was sparked by ongoing revelations thanks to the USA today. you don't have to agree with me and I'll probably alienate myself a bit in the College sports section of Bleacher, but this is an important subject. Please support when you have some free time, Thanks, Ray!

Thank you. Jeff. (ND-Pitt).

What if I just try to think about separating thoughts, then use a comma?

Thank you for editing my article on the ND-Pitt game.

You certainly used a lot more commas than I thought were necessary.

I deleted most of them because I thought it would change the flow of my article.

I also felt that if I knew what I was saying, I thought the reader would also.

BUT...................I read the article over and over and I see how I probably do write with sentences, that border on what are known as "run-on" sentences.

This has been one of the most difficult areas to become proficient in.

I think I get my point across, but I have to be better at separating the thoughts.

When I get excited about what I'm wring about, it's hard to slow down. Is slowing down the answer to writing sentences that are more clear?
