I am just your typical sports fan who grew up watching Texas Tech Football. When the trees start shedding their leaves, and the air in Texas cools from the sustained 100 degree mark, and PGA golf is coming to a close for the season, I am gearing up to don my Red and Black for another rowdy season of BIG XII Football.

However, Football and Golf are not where my passion for sports cease. In fact, for a Texan, I am sort of a Black Sheep. In Texas, anyone interested in motorsports might tell you that NASCAR is the sole category of four-wheel racing, I feel quite the contrary! In my opinion, Formula 1 has done more for motorsports worldwide than anything else. At last glance, it was the second most watched sport in the world. (Soccer being the first) Over the course of the preceding 10 or 12 years, I have been captivated with the change in technology, the constant alterations of rules and regulations, and the domination of the sport by the top team, Scuderia Ferrari. In short, I am a die hard, SF "Prancing Horse" tattooed, all RED, Schumacher praising, Tifosi! Whether this Europe-based sport airs a race at midnight on a Saturday, or 6:30 a.m. on a Sunday, I am watching with the utmost admiration and respect for some of the most elite drivers and teams in the world. It's an awesome experience!!!!
