About Ryan »

My name is Ryan Bass and I am a junior majoring in Journalism at the University of Central Florida in Orlando. I am the Sports Editor for UCF's student newspaper, The Central Florida Future, and beat write for the UCF Football, Men's Basketball and Baseball teams. I also serve as the Sports Programming Manager for UCF's student-run radio station, WKNT Knightcast. I'm the top sports personality for WKNT hosting my own sports-talk radio show, The Sports Report with Ryan Bass, weekly on Tuesday's from 4-6 p.m.

In addition to Knightcast, I am a freelance writer for the Orlando Sentinel's high school sports and recruiting section. I was also a freelance writer for the Miami Herald back in 2007 when I lived at home in Miami, FL. I'm currently in the process of hosting a weekly T.V. show on UCFTV (Bright House Channel 1) that will be an open forum/guest invite show that will discuss UCF and Orlando sports.

I'm a member of the Delta Upsilon fraternity at UCF and am on their executive board, serving as the Vice President of Fraternal Relations.
