About Brad »

I'm a 23 year old from Fountain Hills, Arizona. I graduated from Northern Arizona University this past July and currently live in Scottsdale, AZ. I have loved sports my entire life and have been writing about them for various websites and blogs for the past few years.

I grew up mainly a basketball player but football has always been my favorite sport. I have been a diehard Washington Redskins fan since I was six years old and no team can match my enthusiasm for them. As far as the NBA goes, I am a Los Angeles Lakers fan all the way. I was born in Los Angeles but grew up in Honolulu, Hawaii.

When I was 10 years old, the Lakers were playing an exhibition game against the Nuggets at the University of Hawaii's stadium. A friend of mine had courtside tickets and before the game I got to say hi to Shaq (the largest human being I have ever seen in person). The true highlight though was watching a 17 year old rookie by the name of Kobe Bryant run wind-sprints in front of me. As he got to my sideline I stuck out my hand and he gave me a high-five before heading back to the other end. From then on, Kobe was my guy.

Sports have given me so much in life, from friends, to self-confidence, to a way to spend my summers as an only child. I love and follow all sports and find that beyond the games played there is much more that we can learn from them.

    Brad,
Thanks for the feedback, and for taking time to edit. Good job, and obviously no changes I disagreed with. Thanks also for the praise. Yes, it took some time to research, but that I did without having an article in mind. I just was very curious, and had to find out if there was any merrit to the predictions that Bug Unit is the last. When I found there really wasn't I felt like spreading the news. Obviously, by respons number two it did not reach everyone :-). You can't win them all. Thanks again Øystein Oslo, Norway

New Article: Pac-10 Predictions: Week 13

I think it's pretty safe to say that this weekend's slate of Pac-10 games aren't quite as exciting as last weekend's. That being said, there are still a few interesting subplots to explore and, I think, some winnable spreads out there...

Thanks for the edit and comment Brad. It's easy to write passionately about people who deserve it. I wish another DC owner was as...well let's leave it at that!
