the leash definitely gets shorter as the losses add up, but I'm not ready to give up on him just yet, and i don't think the decision makers are either... trust me, as an auburn fan I am very frustrated with our season and play thus far, and i think the OC will see pink way before chizik. Chiz is trying to build something different from last year, but they are really young where it counts the most (the OL which was exposed last saturday) and the QB is not built for the pocket (and i just plain don't care for mosely). the play calling to this point has not been to frazier's strengths and i think that's on the OC... putting in moseley last week had to have been an administrative decision by chizik because frazier a.) wasn't getting it done fast enough, b.) has been notoriously horrendous in second halves, and c.) couldn't stimulate the team (which is what chizik stated... or rather he thought they needed a spark lol). either way, i think loefler would have kept frazier in, and i think it shows that chizik has been giving the OC too much freedom (and has not been involved in the play calling as some others have speculated), but this is now coming to an end. i expect to see more smash mouth between the tackles running with mason and blakely (if he can stop fumbling) in the next game... i think chizik was a little too late in taking the OC reigns saturday, but will go into oxford with a much more limited playbook and more control over the calls. a W right now is more important than progression in this new system, and i believe he's going to do what it takes to get the W and nothing else... even if it means beating the crap out of our RBs and QB.

in summary, i think the OC's leash is extremely short... lol. of course i could be wrong and maybe chizik really is just chizzing all over everything, but i don't think that's the case. to this point, i believe chizik has been giving the OC the benefit of the doubt with installing a new scheme, but i believe we saw the end to that saga play out last saturday...

btw, i don't really think you're an idiot

Now that the offense is done, it is time for the defense :
