Douglas's Bio
Born and raised in Indianapolis, Douglas has been an open-wheel racing fan as long has he can remember. He attended, witnessed, and watched the Indy 500 from every conceivable angle, including track-side coverage for ABC Sports.
Living in NHL-less Indiana, table-top hockey provided the chance to pick “his” team. He chose the Minnesota North Stars and cheered for them ever since. A move to Washington DC included many games at the Cap Center, but no change in loyalty. As luck would have it, he lived in Dallas when Mr. Green moved the team South. He attended the first ever Stars game in Reunion Arena in 1993, was a season ticket holder until his move out of the Lone Star State in 1996.
A resident of New York City, he recently overcame his resentment for baseball (lingering since 1991) adopted the Mets as his team of choice and bought the hat. Equally as passionate about motorcycles, Douglas rides his ’01 Ducati Monster whenever and wherever possible.
