Ryan's Bio

Hey, my name is Ryan Gillis. I am extremely passionate about hockey in general, i watch as many games as possible. Although my favorite team in the Montreal Canadiens, has been since i was born i get excited when a game comes on no matter who is playing.

I have personally played hockey as well as i grew up and stopped playing once i finished high school but follow local teams as much as possible.

When i am not yelling at the television during a game i try to spend as much time with my wife and children doing things with our church, or hanging out with friends.

Other than that, nothing to exciting. Hope that if you are reading anything that i write you enjoy it and any comments are more than welcome.

  1. hi!
    how are u,

about the subject thing, actually I guess u may type on the search engine out there a keyword in ur article, so u can find out who have been writing about the same stuffs.

apart from that, I dont know really
I am going to look for another solution and I ll keep u posted,

    take care
    Miah :)

  2. great, I am glad to learn u're having fun here on BR,

looking forward for ur next article then,

    and enjoy the game tomorrow!

    Miah :)

  3. hi Ryan,

just wanted to make sure everything is okay for you here.

    Keep in touch,
    Miah :)

  4. Hey Ryan. I guess Miah already welcomed you to BR. Good read on the Ryder article, enjoyed it. My name's Matt and I'm the other community leader for the Habs, so if you need any help or anything else on BR, let me know.

    Cheers!

  5. hey Ryan!
First of all, welcome on BR, we are happy you joined the community.

there are actually two community leaders for the Habs (as u may already know), myself and Matt Eichel.
we'll be happy to help you in any matter, just leave a note on our boards. or actually if u just want to talk about a game, a player, feel free to write to us anytime! we enjoy having short debates over the Habs!

so, once again welcome on BR, and I hope you and your family are enjoying the playoff series,

    Miah :)

  6. Sometimes multiple editors take a look at the same article, and sometimes they don't. Usually it's just a matter of picking up different things when different people read it is all. I'm not sure what changes the other editors made though (except for one who listed it was a headline tweak). It's nothing too serious Ryan, it's just one of those things that happens sometimes :)

  7. No worries Ryan, just keep doing what you're doing, and welcome to Bleacher Report. Hopefully you've found it to be welcoming and all the rest, and it's a great place to have your voice heard as a fan!

So without further adieu, there's two people you should probably meet: First off, I'm Bryan, the NHL Community Leader. I'm just around basically to help answer any questions you might have, or discuss topics for future articles—anything you really need! I also do editing periodically (not often though) because sometimes our editors here on the site get backed up, and the writers want someone to look over their work—if that ever happens, feel free to fire me a line and I'll be sure to look over your stuff for you.

The other person you should probably meet is Miah. She's the Montreal Canadiens community leader. Here at B.R. we're working on building strong communities for each team, and Miah is one of the heads of Les Habitants. Any specific questions on Habs related stuff, she's probably your girl!

Anyhow Ryan, again, excellent piece on Ryder, and I look forward to hearing from you more here on BR!
