UNC Football: Tar Heels Find Young Wide Receivers in Win
09/20/2009
I'm an avid sports fan (which, to me, doesn't include NASCAR, poker or any other event where you're predominately sitting). As a native New Yorker, I've suffered for years on the wrong side of the sports equation by being a Mets/Jets/Islanders, and now Knicks, fan. Carolina basketball has singlehandedly saved my sports fandom, leaving me with one team I can constantly rely on. I love a good sports argument and to this day cannot understand why the MLB All-Star Game decides home-field advantage in the World Series. Seriously?
Josh, thanks for the edits and the complement. Have a good one,
Poe

Josh, thanks for the edits and feedback. I double-checked where I got the quote and that's what it says, but I agree with you that it should probably say "aren't" (would Shane say "aren't?). Thanks again; we'll be in touch...

I did check the copy through about four times, but I can't see all the slides on your edit feedback and where you had to correct, which is frustrating.
I had huge problems last night getting the system to work at all. Lost it all once, published twice and had it deleted, then had pictures duplicating themselves and with the wrong captions. I'm not surprised if I ended up with typos, though as I said, I did read it all through again at 1am in the morning!
I've done a load of slideshows before, so not sure what was happening with the site last night. Nearly gave up altogether!
Thanks for checking it through. If you can let me see where I made errors, that would be really helpful.
Many thanks.
(Yes, it was a trip of a lifetime - literally, since I shall never be able to go back.)

Thanks for the clutch edits, Josh. That's what I get for writing up an article in the wee hours of the morning. Thanks for catching my mistakes.

Hey Josh,
Thanks for the revisions my friend! I'll be the first to admit, I have excellent spelling, but I basically ignored 90% of the grammar and punctuation rules they taught us as kids. Feel free to edit my stuff any time sir. I appreciated the leg up!

thanks for the edit josh. to be honest, i'm usually totally OCD when it comes to such things in an article.
but covering my first race this weekend, taking all the pictures, scaling them all, making up captions, and trying to get it all done the same night knowing i'd have to get up four hours later to head back to the track, i let a few things slide...
it's no excuse, but it is a reason... ;-)
again, thanks for the edits.

Josh,
Thanks for the and all the feedback and I should know better about saying stuff like #1, using apostrophes etc.
It was a rush job and I wrote the whole thing in 25 mins and was almost late for work.
but thanks for everything. and I've always liked Stuckey and I think he will be a great addition.
