Peter's Bio
Having been "sporting nut" from the age of 12 and obtaining a lot of fun during the period, playing, watching, with approval and distain (at times), age has eventually forced me to stop participating, leaving me to concentrate on memories and at the same time, hopefully to distribute praise and of course, criticism, when appropriate.
The photograph was taken with the Burnley mascot on my return to Turf Moor during November 2007, for the first time since 1972. This was arranged by my two sons Michael & Barry, who accompanied me on the 300 mile round trip. We received a wonderful reception from the staff at Burnley who incidently won the game, beating Ipswich Town 2.1.
