Brooke McGee, midwestern sports fan, journalist and blogger; one who bleeds green and gold with every adrenaline-filled heartbeat. Born in Wisconsin, I was spoon fed brats, Badgers and NFL football in my early years. After moving later into the dusty sands of Tucson, Arizona, I found a new appreciation for the Arizona Cardinals, Diamondbacks and Toros, as I am always a fan of state loyalty. Well rounded in every way, I am the type of girl one could easily label as a lip gloss tomboy. I am currently using my love of sports to expand my writing platform while I work in other fields as well.
Other writing examples of mine can be found through the Hometown News Group, including the Waunakee Times Tribune, the DeForest Tribune, the Lodi Leader and Poynette Press. I also have a weekly blog at Deforestnews.com under the heading "Life Happens".
Always a fan of constructive criticism, feedback to help me grow as a writer or commend my talents is always welcome. Writing is something I fully plan on continuing throughout my life, professionally as well as recreationally.

I won't get people too riled up, but I did enjoy it with the Bears fans. I've been around them my entire life, and it's good to see them down. It's funny, but I now live in Minnesota, and I don't respect the team much, but I have fun with the fans. In Chicago, I respect the Bears, but can't deal with the fans.
U mad sis? U butthurt? Just read your post on the Green Bay loss, you are quite clearly an author of outstanding ineptitude and bias. Face it, you're team lost to a team that cleverly devised a strategy of running the clock down to prevent Rodgers from getting the ball. Face it, you were beaten fair and square.
I don't think I have ever read something so scandalously inept. While everyone is entitled to thier opinion, a sports writer should at least pretend to be unbiased and show some form of understanding for the game. You have displayed niether. While everyone is entitled to thier opinion its sometimes best to bite your tongue rather than spew yoour incredibly biased, hypocritical BS.
Apparently u just started watched football today cause u clearly clueless as to how the game is played. Not only did u further damage the horrible reputation of bleacherreport.com but also your career as an amatuer writer. I think your fate is sealed. First off, its not hard to tell your article was written by a broad but someone who is clearly uneducated & ignorant in football. All coaches on every level would kneel in that situation. Its called being smart. If KC would've risked throwing the ball & it got picked off & ran back. That coached would've been not only fired by ridiculed on ESPN & radio. I'm giving u pearls here so u don't sound so retarded next time u take to the laptop. Also, Im guessing u didn't even watch the Super Bowl last year when your "sneaky" Packers sealed the deal by KNEELING at the end of the game! U really set women's knowledge of football back 1,000 years with this article by sounding so ignorant. Have a few drinks & then drive home : )
I'm a Browns fan. So, you're saying that you'd prefer the Chiefs to run up the score on your team? Seriously?
1st and 10 at PIT 33 A.Rodgers kneels to PIT 34 for -1 yards.
2nd and 11 at PIT 34 A.Rodgers kneels to PIT 35 for -1 yards.
Your Packers didn't take your advice in the Super Bowl. Why should the Chiefs? Wow...stop being a crybaby and congratulate the Chiefs for a great win.
your article about the game today it total BS you don't know what the hell your talking about the whole point is to not give your opponent the chance to win not the other way around
Thanks for being my fan.
I have read your articles on the Packers and they are great. Best wishes from a fellow Midwesterner born in Ohio. Please feel free to visit me and comment on my soccer articles as well as this article about Tim Tebow.
