Moving on to Episode 2. So, you just found out your brother's a serial killer. Now what? If you're Deb, you go running outside and vomit on the street. And then you try to make sense of the nightmare. This clip shows us Deb's reaction to what Dexter told her at the end of "Are you…?"
So it's out. Deb knows the truth. Now how will she deal with it? Because she's Deb and she's a cop, but she's also Dexter's sister and we know she has strong (to put it mildly) feelings for him. The episode description for "Sunshine and Frosty Swirl" give us some indication of how she's going to proceed.
"Sunshine And Frosty Swirl”
Written by Manny Coto, Directed by Steve Shill
When a local convict claims he has new information regarding a fifteen-year-old crime spree, Miami Metro sets out to unearth new evidence on the case. While Debra attempts to cure Dexter of his killer tendencies, the Mike Anderson case leads to the Ukrainian mob, and a vengeful Louis won’t stop meddling with Dexter’s life.
So, if she's attempting to cure him, does that mean she's not considering turning him in? Since she didn't turn him in over Travis, and she helped him cover up that murder, she might not have a choice at this point. Turning him in would mean her job and possibly even prison for her for what she did, right? While that's probably a relief for Dexter, it should be interesting to see Deb's attempts to cure him.
And it also looks like there's progress on the Mike Anderson case, which could be the big investigation of the season. Meanwhile, Louis is still causing a problem. How will Dexter deal with his sneakiness?
