Hey I wrote an article on the current state of NHL writers on Bleacher Report and I think it's an important read to members of the community. Take a look when you get a chance. Thanks.
the big issue in quebec was to allow under age players fight. that was the big thing that has been going on since the roy story. like, nobody wanted to see a 19 year old player punching a 16-17 one. big deal. so they went on a campaign about stopping the fights in quebec, which thankfully did not work out.
still, the junior guys right now have surely developped the tough side of being a hockey player. most of the games i have ever attended, there was always a fight. no need to say how it was when patrick roy stood up on his bench to scream on the referees!
yup, here we are. it is all official now. for sure, he deserves it for what he has done for the team. but as we were expecting as well, some fans think it is a big joke. kinda understand their position as well...
I just wanted to let you know that Bleacher Report has launched out of beta with an updated look and feel and some great new features. Check out the "Game On" link in the header to find out more.
Next week we'll be launching the site to the world with some public announcements—and it'd be great to get a contribution from you between now and Tuesday to make Bleacher Report's launch a success.
Let me know if you need any help with ideas or have questions. Have a great weekend Rant!
No problem Rant Man your title is definitely a lot more fitting for the piece. Keep bringing the awesome analysis =)
RM--Glad the edits check out. Totally understood that the rant is your thing--I tried to preserve that as much as possible while making it a touch more digestible for readers. Going forward, never hesitate to change any revisions you don't like. Keep the good stuff coming...
