Born in Washington DC and raised in New York City and then Willingboro NJ. I have had a number of sports influences in my life. My first love, Baseball (Don't all kids grow up loving baseball?) was eclipsed at the age of ten by Football and in particular the Pittsburgh Steelers of the early seventies. I still considere myself a Yankees fan but not a card carrying member. I am however most fanatical for my beloved STEELERS!

I have enjoyed a 25+ years as a Chef where I have been fortunate to have met so many people of various culltures. Through these associations, I have had the oppoutunity to learn a great deal about the other Football (Futbol, Soccer). I am fascinated by the history, the rivalry's, and the deep "Social and Political" influences the sport has. I used to think the "Super Bowl" was the ultimate in sports until I witnessed the universal appeal of soccer from the local club level all the way up to the World Cup.

I look foward to sharing some of my opinions on sports with the b\r community!
