About

As a former FSU student, I have been a close follower of all things 'Seminole.' I am still friends with of some of the players of the 1999-2003 teams, whom I often tutored in subjects ranging from Sociology to Economics. I hold a typical 9-5 job, and I just find blogging and writing a worthwhile means of escaping the typical daily routine. I am a statistics guy, and I do a ton of homework to find that one "did you know?" factoid.

I am more interested in writing as a means to consider the extraordinary, the unique, and the surprising, rather than things people find themselves rehashing over and over again.

A famous quote I once read was, "We do what we have to do, until we can do what we want to do."

Well I hope that you find my opinions intriguing, and find a good a point of resolve from the angle I approach sports matters from, because I am doing what I want to do, perhaps for the first time in my life.

    By the evidence of no top 25 ranking by Lindys,and its obvious that Athlon is not to have us in its 25 either.The expectation level for the Seminoles is very low indeed by these traditional SEC mouthpiece rags.This scenario is perfect as all the hype will be on the U,VT,NC,GT all Coastal teams .They have no respect for the Atlantic we ,Clemson and BC get no love.But the obstacle in our path should we have a great 10-11 win season will the perception change or will we have just been lucky?
