Torrey has yet to fill out a bio.
That would be a great individual dual to see for sure. People can slam on the hiring of Kiffin all they want, but personally, I think Saban and the Tide made an extremely smart move there. As a head coach, Kiffin was a bit of a joke both in the SEC and in the PAC12... but the fact remains, as an offensive mind, the guy is incredible. Picking up a qb like Barnett, not sure I spelled it right without looking it up, but that Notre Dame decommit... anyway, considering the kind of talent Kiffin will have to work with at Alabama, they'll be spooky good on offense, and I'll bet Saban is already keying in on what went wrong against spread offenses. Truly... I'd be shocked as hell if your Tide doesn't make it into one of the 4 playoff spots this year. Just hoping my Ducks can get past Michigan State, Stanford, and that road game they have against UCLA this year. 3 wins there would likely launch them into the playoffs as well, so long as everyone stays healthy this year.
Are we starting this year off on a different foot Mr. Torrey Lane??? If that's the case... let me say this... Best Wishes to your Crimson Tide brother, and may they do what they've been doing best for years... and ROLL onto the playoffs. Actually my only hope is that both teams can stay healthy all season this year and we can finally get that matchup. Both fanbases and even the programs themselves have been pulling for that one the last few years, and I think college football truly needs it. Incredibly powerful traditional program like the Tide, and the new face of college ball like Oregon. It would be great. Only disappointing thing would be, it didn't get to happen with AJ vs Mariota. But with the incredible staff you've got there, I'm sure you'll develop another rock like AJ in the offseason and pick right back up where you left off again. Anyway, best of luck this year brother.
And what the hell are you talking about? It was your head coach that was leading the convoy of wambulances trying to "change the rules" as you call it, and do away with the up tempo style of play. Boohoo... NCAA was smart enough to throw it under the bus. Too bad. Get over it. But it's your coaching staff that's crying, not Oregon's. So stop your desperate attempt of bringing up something controversial under Belloti from decades ago... lmao!! Try an "L" on for size, it goes on your forehead, and if you don't know what it stands for I'll be glad to let you know.
Hahahaha!! Bottom line, all you have is your past. Speaking of which, you know what's stitched inside the collar of every Oregon players Jersey this year? "You vs Yesterday" You could learn a thing or two about that instead of dwelling and harping on past accomplishments. I mean after all, what did it get your Tide last year??? Absolutely nothing.
HAHAHAHAHAHA!!!! Are you really that ignorant? I provided you with an article that featured a quote from Urban Meyer himself saying "look no further than Oregon" and "We are totally committed to it" when he was referring to his new up tempo offense. LMAO!!! Your just too incredibly blind and stupid and drown in Tide ignorance to admit that your not only way off target, but clearly have no clue what your talking about, and that has nothing to do with my friends, and everything to do with FACT and Urban Meyers own statements regarding his offense you idiot. LMAO!!! As far as throwing stuff out there to avoid things, it was your noob infested brain that resorted to that, by bringing up MIKE Belotti rather than admitting how much of a fool you looked like trying to claim that Oregon got "blown out three times last year" and "USC ran all over Oregon with their backs" last year, and so many other things you clearly had no clue about. LMAO!!!!!! Rather than admitting to way off target and clueless, you just keep swerving trying to bring up new topics and claim them as part of the debate, which they are not. Heres a refresher for ya... our debate, and some the topics were related to the FACT that your Tide has fallen three times in the past 2 years to HUNH offenses. FACT. Championships???? LMAO!! You took home absolutely nothing last year. Why? Cuz your Tide fell twice to HUNH offenses and that is fact. So your statement about your Tide having all the answers and shutting down HUNH offenses is totally bogus as well. That is FACT. FACT also is that USC DID NOT PLAY OREGON LAST YEAR. HAhahaha!!! Also FACT is the last time USC did play Oregon, Oregon won. And it was at the Colliseum. Also FACT, is Ohio State does run an up tempo offense under Meyer, and even Meyer himself said "Look no further than Oregon" to see what his offensive strategy was going to be when he took over. As far as my friends from Ohio, his Dad is Ohio State Alumn, their entire family is from the Columbus area, and yes, we all watch football together when we can. It is good having friends, and having friends that are legitimate fans of the sport. We all have a great time together. Sorry you don't have any. But then again, your total A**hole, so it's clear to see why not. LMAO!!!
BTW, since when is ESPN a "blog"? LMAO!!! ESPN is ESPN you moron.
Hahaha!! Get burned? LMAO!! I currently live in Texas, and my next door neighbor is a huge Ohio State fan. His entire family is from Columbus area, and we all watched the Ohio State Oregon Rose Bowl together and had a great time.... and he knows Ohio State runs a HUNH offense under Meyer, and we've even discussed how well Dontre Wilson (and Oregon commit that later decommitted and went to Ohio State) and knew he'd do well because he's a player with very similar attributes to that of DeAnthony Thomas, and would be used in an open slot sort of rover position much like DeAnthony Thomas was at Oregon. I've watched plenty of Buckeye football over the last couple of years, and only a bent outta shape, butthurt Alabama fan who chooses to be a completely ignorant noob would try to plea some bogus, far flung, hyperbolic case that the Bucks aren't running a variation of the up tempo, nu huddle offense these days... Oops... that would describe you right? LMFAO!!! Like I said, try to put something together that actually makes sense, and doesn't make you look like a completely ignorant chest beating, blatantly blinded by bias fan who knows about as much about football as a woman in a white dress does about selling ketchup... then get back to me. Because everything you've said up to this point has been completely inaccurate, biased, false, or just blatant chest beating about stuff you know nothing about or have no way of predicting. Just be a man and admit it. USC DID NOT PLAY OREGON LAST YEAR (therefore did not "blowout Oregon" or "run right through Oregon with their backs" LMAO!!!! Urban Meyer does run an "up tempo offense" so I guess they did in fact "lower themselves to that level in Ohio" HAHAHAHA!! Oregon did not "get blown out 3 times last year" you idiot!!! Because they only lost two games, one of which to Stanford was a whopping 26-20 score from which Oregon was attempting an onside kick with well over a minute remaining. You clearly have no clue who MIKE BELLOTTI is... because who the hell is Mark???????? LMFAO!!!!!!!!!!!! Here.... let me help your ignorant ass out here. The PAC is no longer the PAC10 ok? It's now the PAC12. There is now a north and a south division in the conference and not every team from the north competes against every team from the south every season. It's much like your beloved SEC now. You've got a division, and not everyone plays each other every year okay? So last year, Oregon didn't happen to play USC. You know? The Trojans? LMAO!! The team who you claim had backs that "ran all over Oregon" last year and somehow "blew them out" LMFAO!!!!!!! And uhmmmm... MIKE not MARK Belloti was Oregon's head coach who took them to #2 in the country under quarterback Joey Harrington, where went on to win the Fiesta Bowl before your biased Bama loving butt even knew who they were (because you obviously have no clue of what goes on outside your conference). HINT- it was the same year Nebraska and the Canes hooked up in the national title game, because Colorado and Nebraska had already competed twice that year, regular season and in their conference championship game. Huskers got smashed by the Canes, and Buffs got smashed by Oregon. Anyway, that was Mike, NOT MARK!! LMAO!!! Idiot. Anything else I can help you with and clue you into, just let me know, I'd be glad to help you out brother. HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!! So many fools on here, so little time.
Mark??? Belloti? USC Beating Oregon last year??? Oregon getting blown out three times last year???? Ohio State "never lowering themselves to play no huddle"????? Alabama having all the answers to beating HUNH offenses when their only losses the last couple of years, all three of them have been to HUNH offenses????? Do you even watch college football, or just choose to be a total noob? I'm curious.
"All you've got to do is look at Oregon," Meyer said. "We're committed to it. We're still going to pop a huddle once in a while, but we're committed to it." - Urban Meyer
Hahahahaha!!!! Still laughing at your ignorance. Too funny.
By the way....
Interesting article that screams "Get a clue Torrey Lane". LMAO!!!
