Oklahoma Sooners Take Huge Step Back Against Texas Tech Red Raiders
11/21/2009
Growing up in college football hotbed Oklahoma in the '80s in a home split along Bedlam lines, Allen Kenney's pro-OU dad got to him first. Despite lighting out for school in the college football wasteland of the Northeast at the age of 18, his passion for the game never waned. After graduating from Villanova University in 2001, Allen bumped around the country for a bit before settling temporarily in Chicago to complete a master's degree in journalism from the Medill School of Journalism at Northwestern University. Since then, he has worked as a writer and investigative reporter in Washington, D.C., and recently completed a part-time MBA program at The George Washington University School of Business.
Allen's blog, Blatant Homerism, follows the college football world at large, with an emphasis on its most prestigious program, the Oklahoma Sooners. Don't look for any "journalism" here--just some of the finest college football writing around.

I don't know how Bradford ranks among OU quarterbacks. All I know is the Texas Longhorns are glad they don't have to face him again. He...
Oklahoma will be competing for the National Championship again next year, just like USC will. Go Huskers
Great article. It was a bad day for OU fans. I wish there was some way to speed up to the start of next year.
In their 2008 matchup with the Texas Tech Red Raiders, the Oklahoma Sooners scored their first touchdown six minutes into the game. It marked the first of nine scores in a 65-21 victory...
Congrats on being mentioned by ESPN. Saw they referenced you in their "rumors" section.

While I usually don't promote articles, I saw fit to promote this one. I feel people are not paying attention to what this article is about. They probably should. No matter if you are a fan of Florida or LSU, this is something you need to remember going into tomorrow night.
