About

I have come from the future to live in the past, or should I now call it the present? The future is so damn boring there. I need a break from the constant enlightenment and I seek entertainment and filth. I desire a life void of deeper meaning than sports.

I picked this year to re-start this phase of my life so that I may witness the rebirth of Raider greatness. I want to have a first hand accounting of the football team that became so great they brought harmony upon the universe.

Short List

  • Favorite Athletes

Bo Jackson, Ken Griffey Jr, Ichiro, Magic Johnson

  • Favorite Sports Teams

Raiders, Lakers, Mariners, and the SONICS! RIP

  • Favorite Coaches

    Phil Jackson, Chucky, Lou Pinella

  • All Time Sports Moment

The Raiders beating the Titans in the AFC championship game.

  • Most Memorable Game Attended

Bo's Kingdome MNF party and Ichiro setting the single season hits record and the Sonics last home game.

  • Most Unbreakable Sports Record

Cal Ripken's streak. Only Prince Fielder played in all 162 this year.

  • Ruth or Mays?

Ruth is the godfather of sports icons. He was a stud pitcher. Imagine if he had been eating steroids instead of hot dogs.

  • Unitas or Montana?

    Elway

  • Jordan or Russell?

Jordan pushed Bryon Russell off! Bill Russell won as a player/coach. Neither physically dominated as much as Wilt!

  • Gretzky or Orr?

    Not Hockey

  • Pele or Maradona?

    Not soccer

  • Federer or Sampras?

Federer is a self serving, metro sexual, weenie!

  • Tiger or Nicklaus?

Tiger acts like a petulant child.

  • Petty or Earnhardt?

    The man in black.

  • Schumacher or Senna?

I'd like to buy a vowel Alex

  • ACC, Big 12, Big East, Big Ten, Pac-12 or SEC?

Pac 10... No respect. 5-0 in bowls last year.

With just a couple of days before the 2010 Ford Ironman Championship in Hawaii, I talk with one of the favorites—last year's runner-up, American Chris Lieto:
