I took to writing for the Internet in late summer 2011 following surgery on my left hip that revealed a lot more collateral damage once the surgeons got inside than was originally diagnosed.
As such, the surgery has only served to compound the issue and the procedure planned for the opposing, similarly suffering hip has been cancelled. The Internet subsequently remains my window to the world.
I was introduced to golf when I was asked to supply content for a UK golf website, www.webgolfcoach.com, early in 2012. That website has been put on indefinite hiatus after it was battered by the Penguin for unnatural links.
Golf is not my only passion; soccer and darts are also favourite sports of mine.
But my real passion is SEO (on site for content - none of the off-site linking malarkey). Oh, for a world where spamming was banished and quality content ruled the roost. And the SERPs. One day soon, perhaps, when Google officially take over the world that eventuality will come to pass.
Through the Bleacher Report, I hope to satisfy a very real journalistic curiosity and connect with likeminded readers and writers from around the globe..
I hope you enjoy the ride as much as I do.
