About

I was born and raised in the Northwest suburbs of Chicago (a small town called McHenry IL), and pretty much grew up with a passion for Chicago Sports. I am now a devoted Chicago White Sox fan and frankly have very little interest for the team on the North Side (even though their 100+ years of futility does make me laugh). Chicago is a fantastic sports town with fantastic fans, but due to their brutal winters I have made Las Vegas, NV my home for the past 16 years.

I graduated from Southern Ilinois University at Carbondale with a major in Radio-TV and a minor in journalism. I worked in the Radio business for about 8 years in both on-air and behind the scenes roles in Indiana and Las Vegas before deciding to get a "real job" and actually make some money. I enjoyed my radio days, but frankly the pursuit for the almighty dollar forced me to give it up. My passion for sports however, has never left. It's just now I follow them without starving to death. I have always enjoyed writing and am glad for this venue to express my opinions. Hope you like what you read.
