Bor,
Unfortunately I do not know of the details of Michael Mauti's injury or about his future of playing football.
Thanks for reading,

Sveum is totally clueless and looks like a street person. He makes way too much money to not have a weekly shower and shave. You look...

Hey Colin,
This has been going around my extended family several rounds and it is all about Mike Mauti and his knee surgery. When he was first hurt it also looked like it may have been a neck or head issue, maybe a concussion.
We all watched Mike jumping and running around during the Wisconsin game, not wearing a knee brace or on crutches just one week after he was chop blocked and then carted off the field against Indiana. In your article yesterday you say: What Mauti did in 2012 was no easy task...leading in tackles (until a knee injury) along with being the vocal leader...
Your 2 key words knee injury. But during the Wisconsin it looked like it was not his knee that had a major injury.
With my other football team the Washington Redskins we have had hour by hour updates on RG III with his injuries and today's surgery. With Mike Mauti we have not heard anything about him having been operated on his knee. So could you please give me, my family and every other Penn State fan around the globe what is the latest on Mike and his knee surgery. Or not.
The NFL Combine is coming up very soon and I am sure he wants to be a big part of that try out.

Hey Colin,
I just wrote a nice 3 paragraph question and cyber world ate it so here is my second attempt. The article that you wrote about Mike Mauti has me thinking. This has gone around my family a few times and I have not seen anywhere that Mike Mauti has had knee surgery.
We all watched during the Wisconsin game has he ran and jumped around only one week after the chop block during the Indiana game. The first thought was that he actually had a head or neck injury - concussion.
With my other football team the Washington Redskins
