Ryan's Fans (21)
Ryan's Bio
I am a huge NHL fan trapped in Cleveland, Ohio. I follow the Sabres (I was born in Buffalo) as best I can thanks to NHL Center Ice and consider myself a pretty knowledgable hockey fan. I love the game and enjoy watching certain players as much as I enjoy watching the Sabres. Ovechkin, Crosby, Malkin, Phaneuf, Gaborik and my all-time favorite: Peter Forsberg.
I'm also a Buffalo Bills fan (let's not talk about that, shall we?) and a Michigan Wolverines fan.
Speaking of the latter, everyone on this site seems to have a problem with the program and fans in general. No, I do not believe Rich Rodriguez is an angel, however I do not care about his transgressions. It's the life of a collegiate coach; get ahead however you can. Just ask Nick Saban and Bobby Petrino.
So you angry WVU, Notre Dame and Ohio State fans can stop bombarding my college football posts with negative, nasty remarks. If you don't like what I have to say, offer a thought-out, contstructive argument. Don't insult my name (Uncle Rico), don't tell me I'm an idiot simply because I don't agree with you and for god's sake, read what I say carefully before responding as many of you seem to ignore chunks of what I say because it may take away from your argument.
That's that. Anyway, I hope you enjoy my writing and can offer some intriguing, thoughtful comments and arguments.

I regret even posting that comment now. Sorry about that I shouldn't have taken it personally.
Sorry, Ross.

Meh no worries....everyone that didn't suffer through the Martin Gelinas goal that ended that series doesn't have to worry about it—for me I can't repress it! haha.
To be completely honest, I think Sundin should be in. Leafs fan or not, he was one of the best leaders who was able to elevate players that shouldn't have had to be elevated (Jonas Hoglund, ect.). I know that as Leafs fans our biggest "reason" for Mats to get in is because he made lesser payers better, but it's true—Joe Sakic, Mario Lemiuex, and Wayne Gretzky all had someone with talent around them. Gary Roberts and Alex Mogilny were really the only options Sundin ever got—Sergei Berezin MAYBE. Then the points per game thing (a lot of my gripes are taken from that link that one guy posted) is skewed....I believe the year previous to the lockout there wasn't a 100-point scorer, and the NHL average one a year perhaps during that time, while six players per season maybe played at point-per-game averages. Again, maybe I'm biased, but I don't really care...I believe he's in :) haha.
As for Dino, it's sometimes hard to tell how people feel about him—I'm of the opinion that he should be in and that sometimes talent should forgo personal reasons and personality...Is OJ Simpson still in the NFL HOF? (I cant actually remember). What about all of the people that beat their wives, or had small-time crimes outside of the game. Frig who really knows anymore eh?
Anyways dude, good article....I liked it a lot more than the one that was mentioned in the comments section Ryan :) haha

Hey there!
You actually did a really good job on the hockey trivia... it was a toughie for sure, and getting even one is impressive. Thanks for playing.
I've got two new editions out if you'd like to give them a try. I have started a leaderboard, so you could find yourself on that. Take care and good luck.

You have some interesting fans!
I left a reply for JOSH NOT TELLING on the CM Punk piece in hopes that we can improve his style of prose before he actually writes something on B/R.
I think that if we can all work together he'll be an interesting and unique addition to the staff here at B/R.
Love your picture but can't remember Delaware playing Penn State recently ;o)

Thanks as always,

Keep up the great work Ryan. I'm definitely one of your fans now. Check out my articles for up to date news on the Wolverines. (I'm not much of a writer)

Going forward, unless it is decent comments, i want no interaction between you and Todd. I will be telling him the same thing. Be civil about this.

Hi there Ryan.
I just noticed your hockey allegience, and your interest in hockey info and trivia. I then wanted to challenge you to my hockey trivia series on Bleacher Report. There are six editions out now, and they have gotten more and more difficult (if I do say so myself). Start with the first one, and there are full-length answers in each subsequent chapter and links to more chapters of trivia.
I am hoping this will make B/R more interactive, and get all sorts of trivia participants to look at each other's profiles and discover one another's writing contributions. It's also a way to fill the iceless summer months with hockey and expand your knowledge of the game. I hope you like it.
Take care,
M

Keep the WWE insanity coming. It looks like cooler heads do prevail after all. Thanks for inserting your comments, and we hope that you'll write a WWE column in the future.
