Is Alexander Frolov Leaving the Los Angeles Kings? If So, Who's Headed West?
10/21/2009
I started playing hockey at the age of 10 in Peoria, Illinois. In 1997 I was a founding member of the Capistrano Valley High School Roller Hockey team and went on to captain the Interscholastic In-Line Federation Orange County Varsity-A Championship team as a Senior in 2001. Picking up there, I co-founded the Chapman University Roller Hockey team in the Fall of '01 and was an assistant captain on the 2005 National Collegiate Roller Hockey Association Elite Eight Finalist at the National Collegiate Tournament in Fort Collins, CO.
Since then I work for Fox Sports and Fox Sports Net on various sports based programs. I have been an avid Los Angeles Kings fan since the early 1990's. I have played fantasy sports since 2001.
Hey I wrote an article on the current state of NHL writers on Bleacher Report and I think it's an important read to members of the community. Take a look when you get a chance. Thanks.

I really appreciate your articles on the Kings. They are really solid, and I think that you have a good voice when looking at the team. Keep up the solid work!

DeleteHi Reed, I was intrigued to read your Bio and discover your roots in Orange County with Capo, the IHF high school league and Chapman University roller hockey clubs. As the current president of the IHF (www.ihf-hockey.org), I would be interested in learning more about your experiences and lasting influences. You'll be pleased to know that the Capo Valley HS team is alive and well and that the IHF League is now up to over 30 high schools and 56 teams playing organized scholastic inline hockey. Maybe you'll (uh hum) crossover every once in a while and give a mention about the importance of inline's Concrete Pond and its contributions to the big Frozen Pond of southern California's Ice Hockey programs. Remember, even Luc Robitaille played roller on the beach at Santa Monica :) Good luck and keep on keepin' on. I enjoy reading your articles!
