I went through the Bleacher Report Writing Academy and was eventually promoted as a Featured Columnist. I am currently a college football contributor and a recent graduate from the University of Oregon. When I was about six years old I fell in love with sports, especially the Chicago Bulls and Michael Jordan. I am completely surrounded by sports every single day of my life, whether I'm watching them on television or attending a game.
My favorite sport is definitely college football. I grew up pulling for the Michigan Wolverines and Kansas State Wildcats. I am now a passionate Oregon Duck fan because I'm an alum. I am also a fan of college basketball too. I live and die for my Duke Blue Devils.
I have traveled around the United States to many important games and famous venues. I decided to begin blogging about my adventures and about sports in general. I blog every week about college football and love to talk to people from different fan bases. I want to pursue a career in sportswriting and/or being on the air analyzing sports.

You're welcome, Josh!
no problem, keep up the good work.
We'll see how good Oregon is tomorrow. Just glad they were able to bounce back in the Pac-12 tournament. UCLA is going to have rough time with Minnesota.
GG. I thought Bruins were going to win after taking down the zonas, but Oregon is a great team.
Tough ending. I thought the title was Oregon's for sure when UCLA lost to the Huskies, but man, anything can happen.
Gonzaga slide: "It's hard to argue that they doesn't"
Great article though!
Thanks for becoming a fan, Josh! I see you are pretty new to B/R — how are you liking it so far? Solid article about Duke. I'm eager to see how they do as the season progresses. I didn't expect them to do much last year and luckily got pretty far in my bracket haha It's great to see you are involved with the sportswriting internship. I actually was in the inaugural class of the internship a few years ago and absolutely loved it. The internship was a launchpad and gave me valuable experience with everything from deadlines to establishing my own sense of style and voice. Good luck, Josh, and if you have any questions please feel free to reach out!
