    Hi Alex,

    In the near future the league pages will have the articles broken up into different categories, i.e. editorials, news, features, interviews, etc.

    This should further spotlight a piece such as Michael's.

    In addition: I should note that the "Beyond the Bleachers" section of the network (which you can find on the site footer) is the designated spot for interviews with athletes, etc.

    Hey Alex,

    Just wanted to speak up regarding Michael's article not reaching the front page...

    As a site administrator I have access to all of the star ratings given by users. In investigating the incident with the Lewis Hamilton interview, I noticed that THE ONLY Formula One writer to give Michael's interview a star rating was Ben Auty.

    Bleacher Report is an expansive network and articles are not "chosen" by any editorial staff to make the front pages of the site. Articles get to the front page when the stories are written in a timely fashion and are compelling enough to receive high star ratings from other users.

    Next time around, when you see a piece you really like, MAKE SURE to give it a star rating! And please, encourage all of the other members of the F1 Community to do the same...

    I'm trying to send this message home because I believe it is the primary reason why certain articles in this section are having trouble floating up and down the site. Unlike other sections, the F1 writers don't seem to have taken to assigning star ratings for some reason, which makes it impossible for the formulas to distinguish one piece from the next via any qualitative means.

    Hope that makes sense—let me know if you have questions. And remember: GIVE EVERY ARTICLE YOU READ A STAR RATING, especially the good ones.

    Oh well ... That is maybe where you and me differ somewhat matey ... I would love to be picked up by a big company and flown round the world expenses paid to report on the sport I love ... HEAVEN !

    yeah had one connection, good thing i did this year, he cant get me anymore now. gonna have to apply for press accredation myself from now on. whenever i go to a race, i'll be reporting from there. i so want to go to fuji.

    thanks for the dit, realised that as i did the radio bit for adam.

    took me forever to get to the media room man. i had to sprint down the pit lane, madness.

    i do start off well, then i wane a bit in the middle. gotta learn a bit more yet mate.

    Euro 2008 ... Thats old news Al ... Lets have your thoughts on F1, the love of your life ... Its exciting times ... Just look at my last couple of articles and Michaels ... Things are shakin baby ! ... I cant get enough of it right now ! Bring the NOISE ! ... I wanna see more input man, you always spark a good debate in my articles when we bounce opinions off each other ... I am missing the fight ! Ha ha ! Hope ur enjoying work man ?

    Tweaked your article a wee bit hoping that it would appear in the Front Page, no luck, I dunno why.

    Thought that if we keep it close to Bleacher Style it will pick it up, no luck.

    I've been on and off because of an exam coming up, but I have to say, you've been writing some good articles. I wish I could go a little more in-depth rather than skimming, but I just want to commend you on some good work :)
