Michael's Bio

Michael Griffin is 19 Years Old and he lives in Gravesend, Kent, United Kingdom.

He stumbled upon Bleacher Report through an advert on Facebook, and once he discovered Bleacher Report, he decided to begin writing. It's taken over his life, as he has now begun a journalism diploma with the Cleland Thom Journalism Training company.

Michael primarily writes about Formula One, but also delves into Football and Wrestling on occasions.

Michael created the popular "Safety First" series, where he looked at the various eras of Formula One and how safety improved as the years went by. It became a hit with the F1 Community, and is often the basis for articles using historic facts.

Michael has supported Manchester United football club for 16 years, so he claims to be part of a rare breed of fans that are not glory hunters. He also supports the Brawn GP-Mercedes Formula One team, his supporting going back as far as 2003 when Jenson Button joined what used to be BAR.

Michael also supports his local football team, Ebbsfleet United. Not the most successful team, but it helps keep his feet on the ground.

Michael has been obsessed with Formula One since birth (quite literally, the 1990 United States Grand Prix was being repeated when he was born)

The first Formula One race that he has genuine memory of is the 1993 Hungarian Grand Prix, which Damon Hill won. Since then, he has not missed a single Grand Prix. 16 years, that is dedication for you!
