Nick's Bio

I have been a freelance writer for about 3 years and a Hockey/Habs fan for about 30.

I was born in Montreal but moved to Vancouver when I was 9 only to move back to "La Belle Province" when I was 26 and have been here ever since.

My take on the sports world is that we should be passionate about it but at the same time be able to step back and call a spade a spade. So although I might be Hab influenced, I'll be the first to call them on a boner move.

I presently write for thefranchiseradio.net as well as freelance for thehockeyfamily.blogspot.com and can be presently heard on a weekly sports talk radio show every Sunday from 8:30-10:30 on CJLO.net. Stay tuned because the time slot will change and we will be moving to AM this summer right here in Montreal !

Looking forward to chatting with you !

  1. yep im serious for the little phrase,
I guess the Habs deserve the highest honours for the centenary (and for the great season), it would be nice to make the Habs community a little more special!

    what do u think?!
but I dont know how to make it accepted by the members ,

do u have any idea on how we can work on that?

    Miah :)

  2. no pb for the link!
so what do u think about the Mat Schneider rumour? Do we really need a D-man anyway? well, its just a rumour ...
anyways, here's to another amazing season, with hopefully a better ending!

ps: ur little quote down the end of the article "in Gainey we trust ..." is pretty cool ! we should make up one for the Habs community on BR! lol

    Miah ;)

  3. u're welcome for the comment.
yeah, I saw on ur bio that u're a die hard Habs fan. well, I am sorry I did not introduce myself a little earlier! so I'll do it the formal way (lol!): I am Miah and I am the Canadiens community leader on BR. as u saw on my bio, whenever u feel like talking about the Habs or any team, I am always up for the debate!

as I said in my latest comment, there will be a few articles in our community over the next few weeks concerning the Habs contracts signing. stuffs like whould say/go and so on.
Among our future subjects of debates: the fact of having an experienced goalie instead of Halak to replace Price / what to do with Koivu and Kovalev / what kind of players should Gainey seek on the free agent market.
our dear Bob already started discussions with Kostitsyn, which is good new.

  4. Sorry, that was not a good way to introduce myself, lol Im the Ducks Community Leader here on BR. I must still be a lil sore from the loss.
