I am ignorant about my European origins. I'm mixed race and somewhat confused about my Schnyder origins. I THoUghT I was part German and I know I'm part black, hispanic, french, and native american, but thanks for the info.

"German and Jewish (Ashkenazic): occupational name for a tailor, literally ‘cutter’, from Middle High German snīder, German Schneider, Yiddish shnayder. The same term was sometimes used to denote a woodcutter"
