Favorite Quotes:

"The one that invented the light tried 2,000 times and finally he did it. We have light because he spent 2,000-some times and finally he did it. I don’t want to spend 2,000 times to win Opening Day, but I think I will do it this year and go from there.’’ - Carlos Zambrano

"Playoffs?" - Jim Mora

"Were talkin' bout practice. Not a game, not a game...practice." - Allen Iverson

"I'm not at the top yet. I'm very, very good; to the naked eye it looks like, 'What more can he do?' But there's much room for improvement." - Chad Johnson

''When I'm 90 years old and talking to my grandkids and hopefully great-grandkids, I won't be the grandparent who tells them about the things I wished I had done and how they should experience life. I will be the grandparent with tons of great stories that hopefully inspires them to live their lives to the fullest.'' - Mark Cuban

"Next question," - Drew Rosenhaus

  1. No problem, Bob W. was my other choice if you couldn't do it, I am giving it up for the same reason.

  2. Well, there isn't really much to look over except for the actual site. It's TheDailyCub.com.

Also, once the site begins to make over $50 a month, you will receive 50% of the profit, which comes over PayPal so everything is secure and you know it isn't a scam thing. Let me know if you have any more questions.

  3. Hey Sam, I do a blog called The Daily Cub, but I am going to be unable to keep it up to the best of my ability. Ben Weixlmann said that you would be a good candidate to take it over so I was wondering if you would be interested. There is already a small staff of people that you can post over there, so it shouldn't be too hard. I just feel that somebody else could do a better job with it. Hopefully that can be you.

  4. Thanks so much, Sam..I really appreciate it. Good luck getting those passes, and make sure you let everyone know how great a site we are!!! lol

  5. Good call not taking the NIU basketball offer, they are the definition of awful and would be a waste of your time.

Thanks for the advice. I'll keep what you said in mind as I keep writing here.

  6. Good piece on the Big Ten backs, enjoyed reading it.

  7. hey man thanks for the read

  8. Not a problem Sam. It's great that you're there representing Bleacher Report. Keep it up!

  9. Sam, check out the updates to my profile. Your name is prominently mentioned.

  10. thanks for the compliments!

  11. Thanks for the edit, and the advice.

  12. thanks sam for the comment! i think alot of people still need to come to terms with the fact that the Vikings are still not at that "greatness" level yet, nor will they be for a long time, and the Lions just arent going to be that good at all. their schedule proves it.

  13. Thanks for the edit, but the Shields on the Rays is James Shields, a starter; Scot Shields (one t) is a reliever for the LA Angels.
Thanks for the note about first and last names too.

  14. Hey Sam, seeing as you are a Cubs fan, I was wondering if you could check out my blog at thedailycub.com
