The Short List What Doug thinks about sport's most pressing questions

  • Favorite Athletes

    Jorge Posada and Larry Bird

  • Favorite Sports Teams

Yankees, Astros, Rockets, Knicks, and the defending super bowl champion New York Football Giants.

  • All Time Sports Moment

when the giants won super bowl 42

  • Most Memorable Game Attended

    really haven't attended many games.

  • Most Unbreakable Sports Record

most points scored in one nba game 100 by wilt chamberlain on march 2, 1962 in hershey, pennsylvania

  • Ruth or Mays?

The babe of course he won 99 games as a pitcher and oh yea i forgot he could hit the ball too with 714 homers as well as a .342 career average which is good for 3rd all time

  • Unitas or Montana?

Joe Montana, i understand he didn't put up the numbers Unitas did but he did win 4 super bowls because he was a consimant leader on one of the greatest dynasties in nfl history.

  • Pele or Maradona?

Pele no question because Diego Maradona scored "the hand of god" goal in the 1986 world cup which we all know wasn't a goal and Pele won 3 cups and was also the youngest to win just one.

  • Pac 10, Big 12, Big 10, SEC, ACC, or Big East?

In football I have to give the nod to the SEC, because each and every week each team has a very tough game. In basketball I have to give the nod to the ACC because they have not only Duke but also North Carolina and have traditionally been a powerhouse conference and have had good teams for longer than the Big East although the Big 10 has a little more competition from top to bottom.
