Julian has yet to fill out a bio.
You're right. My opinion had nothing to do with the rankings. I clearly explained that in the intro slide when I explained the system that I developed and used. Bordeleau didn't warrant consideration because he only fought six times in the NHL last season. Ditto for Engelland. McGrattan had all of three fights in the NHL last year.
They aren't there because they aren't good fighters. They aren't there because they hardly fought. The lowest number of fighting majors that cracked the top-10 was 5. And that was only because Lucic didn't lose a fight last year. Or the year prior. The next closest was nine fights. Not really all that close.
Like I wrote in my opener, I was ranking fighters that actually fought. Chara didn't garner consideration because he didn't fight. So why should he be included on a list of fighters.
Hey Julian. I went through nearly 40 different fighters for that article and compiled records by hands. I watched a ton of video, and the slider took me an awfully long time to do. I understand that you don't agree with the results and I respect that, but I wouldn't be so quick to assume that the difference of opinion is because I "didn't do my homework."
