About

I'm a former Texas A&M Wide Receiver from the end of the Jackie Sherrill era, into the beginning of the R.C. Slocum era. Obviously Kyle Fields is not my real name, but as brave as I may be in real life, I am an internet chicken. Ha!

LOL This is hilarious. Thanks for the test. I have been trying to post for about 2 days and getting madder and madder when I'd come back later and no post existed. I fired off a letter to B/R to tell them to PLEASE read anything that was flagged in context because I KNOW I didn't start any fights but I will sometimes go after a troublemaker. I guess he must have reinstated the account and then all my ANGRY posts started popping up... After you did the test I logged back on and I saw.... O-O

I'm having to go through and delete my pent-up angry posts wherever I find them. Hope I didn't hurt your feelings too, if you read any of them, but I felt my man Saban being dissed. Whew.. I need an off-season. Be blessed, Kyle. It really would be fine with me if y'all carried the torch to the NCG next year and took on the wolf-pack out there. I'm getting too old for this. Be blessed.

Well, thank you for the test Kyle. I'm not sure what it is but it's really messing up. No worries. This works fine. Have a wonderful off-season. I figure I'll see you around from time to time.

New year... New account. I must have shoved my foot too deep up someone's sensitive orifice. lol This is why the SEC will always dominate. The dormant season is upon me and I won't be on as often, Kyle, but I figure this is the account to reach me if something strange is happening in the SEC. Last year was been more blessed for me meeting you. Gig 'em and RTR.

Ha ha You sound more anxious than I am. Of course, I've payed a price. In 2009, I was SO tense during the Ironbowl we were about to lose (and ruin our NCG hopes), that when we won, I jumped up and high-fived my friend and ruptured my L5 S1 disc and had to have emergency surgery. LOL So, I just can't allow myself to get too worked up about this. I am wondering though, if Brian Kelly has been training them on the no-huddle up tempo to try and negate our rotations. It seems to be the one thing Saban hates. lol Win or lose, come what may, I'm honored to know you're rooting for us. Gig'em and Roll Tide Roll!

In answer to "you know what I mean" on your last post. I'll give it a go to see if I understand your idea why Bama could beat OU worse and Aggies could beat ND worse. (Feel free to give me the "long" information if I'm way off base)

I think the short of it would be "scout teams" when preparing for the game and ultimately matchups. Aggies could replicate every possible offensive play against a dual threat quarterback and do so with a heisman dual threat quarterback. ND could try and duplicate Manziel with their dual threat but no way they'd know what's coming. Teams just have to experience Manziel to understand. (Saban knew and agreed he couldn't match such a quarterback in preparation). You've played against the 1st, 5th, and 7th total defense teams in the nation and done exceptional. ND is 6th total defense and more of a defensive "between the tackles" plugging type (330 lbs Nix) which, y'all've seen all season in the SEC and wisely avoided for the most part. In my opinion, Manti Teo and company would get embarrassed over pursuing Manziel. Teo just doesn't have the speed or quickness and has never seen such in this league. I'm not knocking Teo. He's amazing... but Manziel is nothing you can "plan for."

Continuing with scouting: we can scout out the OU offense/defense much better than we can the ND offense and are much better equipped for a pocket passer. We're also more apt to pound down the OU defense between the tackles as opposed to pounding down Notre Dame for reasons stated above. That's my take on it.

Noenetheless, I had said months before that the very playing of the Aggies would help us tremendously if we played against Mariota of Oregon in a bowl. So, whereas I'm concerned with Everret Golson, and rightfully so, I truly believe Manziel's training us on the ultimate dual-threat will be in our defensive players' minds as they practice. There's my short and sweet of it. (Not too short, I guess, LOL).

So much congratulations is in order, Kyle. TxA&M made the SEC proud. Big-12 is proud of y'all too ha ha So, we'll call it a wash and NEXT year, we get to claim you all to ourselves. Aggies are a hot commodity now. I know you're lovin' it. :D

Wow, Kyle! What a season. Congrats man. I'm a bit worried about some anti-SEC officiating. If it comes, I hope we can overcome like y'all and South Carolina did. If it ain't close, refs can't beat ya. Y'all made me so proud... Gig'em and Roll Tide!
