Had a stint as a Texas A&M Wide Receiver, from the end of the Jackie Sherrill era, into the beginning of the R.C. Slocum era. Obviously Kyle Fields is not my real name, but I don't want any of you scary cyber-bullies knocking on my door. ;)
I just noticed your post-over 3 months ago-dang it. The good news is- We made it to football season and what an exciting start it has been! We just bought tickets and are headed to Kyle Field this weekend for the big opener there. Poor Lamar...
Wylie's an OK place, but I think you could find something in Lucas or Fairview that suits both worlds. There are definitely areas of acreage, but you're still close to town and all it's conveniences. We have more rolling terrain and trees...I'm a fan of both! :)
Ever been to Kelly's in Plano? I'm guessing "YES", but in case you haven't, it's owned by Aggies and watching a game there is an experience. I did get irritated with some of the women talking instead of watching the game. haha
Posting seems to have died down from several of the regulars. Even the trolls are pretty quiet. I hope you are well and enjoying this wonderful start to our favorite time of year. What most Ags get is that this season is really just the preamble to next year! It's always good to be an Aggie, but right now...it's a GREAT time! Whoop!
Hey Aggie Man you got it on??? I see you guys are making some serious noise in recruiting. Been perusing through the articles. You picked up commitments from the top recruit, and a couple other 5 star guys. Wish my Ducks could pick up some commits like this. Seems were way out west and way up north, and always have to pick them up late.. tending to get last minute commitments from guys who see an opportunity for lots of early playing time after the big programs like yours fill up. We still have a lot of good ones in the air, and will likely push late like we always do, but your Aggies are kicking some serious recruiting butt early. Looks like gonna be several great years to come for your Aggies.
I see now why you decided to remain anonymous, good God I have JJ jones wanted to meet up and confront me. He wants to know where I live, I guess it takes all kinds but there are some scary people out there. The back and forth can get a little much which is why I am really not on the aggie sites much these days.
Gee Kyle. I totally get why you remain anonymous...
Forget where the man is from and where he is speaking but catch this speech, valuable tips for life to be absorbed by all and handed down to those younger than us who are begining their lives. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pxBQLFLei70
Great speech, over a million hits so far-enjoy!
Oh ya*********** One other thing I forgot to mention. There's this notorious, extremely desperate and ugly Troll... usually goes by the name of Michael L and uses a "Oregon Sucks" profile pic... he's constantly on Oregon slides rambling on and on about Phil Knight, Nike, The Duck mascot, and "O" meaning zero national championships and so on... anyway... this idiot troll likes to steal Oregon fans profile picks off their user pages... then go on BR puking out all kinds of idiotic rants in an attempted smear campaign to make Oregon fans look stupid. He's done it to me a number of times lately, so.... if you see what appears to be me on BR, making stupid posts everywhere like "Your team sucks and mine is the best" kind of rhetoric... just click on the user and go to the user page... and you'll clearly see it's not me... but rather an impersonated profile. I wish they had a way to blast trolls off of this thing.. ugh!! Stupid moron. Anyway, I have thousands of posts on profile, and you can clearly see the real me... his false ones keep getting blocked and deleted by the site here.. but he just keeps creating new ones... so when you click on one of the ridiculous posts by this fool, you'll see only a few comments posted and know he's a fake. I always try to look at things objectively on here, and I challenge anyone to scan through the pages I've been on and show me any "out of line" or trolling kind of comments I've posted.... you simply won't find any. I'm not that kind of fan. Called that idiot troll out a number of times for being a pathetic obsessed idiot.. and so he resorted to stealing pics and profiles and doing that kind of crap. Just a heads up, because the idiot likes to see who I'm conversating with on here, then use the "fake" profile to go back and try to make me look like a fool turning friends against me. I've reported him for this a number of times, and they keep blocking him and so on.. but he keeps coming back. Anyway, your a great guy, easily enough to see that even in a short period of time... so I'd hate to have that happen. That's why I'm giving you a heads up on this fool. Don't be mistaken... there is only one RUBBERDUCK... ten four? C'mon back... lol
HAhahahahaha!!! My uncle hauls propolyne glycol, a tanker he drives from Fairbanks Alaska to Prudhoe Bay (The Dalton Highway - "Ice Road Trucker"... anyway, his favorite movie of all time is Convoy. Kind of why I took the name RubberDuck. That and being a huge Duck fan, my family having lived and attended school there. So... "That's a big ten four driver!!" I'm familiar with your 20 there Aggie. I actually stayed home for a year when my girl was pregnant with our boy. He's now almost 6, but at the time I was working for a company locally called Rodman Excavation, just running a rock truck. Anyway, we actually worked a project constructing a road for Wylies new footall stadium over there shortly after they constructed it. "That Wylie Band" hahaha... my first experience in realizing what megastructures the highschool stadiums are down here compared to Alaska. Alaska, where I grew up... you play football in the summer, unlike everywhere else in the country. It's for the obvious reason (Can't really play when it's 40 below outside, I don't care how iron man you wanna be about things). Anyway, extremely blue collar up that way, so most people are working in the canaries and fisheries and oil rigs, so you don't see too many fans at highschool games, just immediate family, mothers, and so on. Just you, a cold muddy field, and your opponent. Not even any "Friday night lights" to hype things up, because it's daylight 24 hours a day that time of year up there. But I come from a split family, so I was able to play football up there, plus return to my mothers place after the summer... and play another season in the small town of Lebanon Oregon, north of Eugene and the Ducks when I got home. Two seasons of football every year for me... Hahahahaha. Anyway, I never really had the genetics to make it big in football, basketball was a different story. I was MVP both my junior and senior years. I wanted to be around for basketball season, so when I finally got smashed on a post route across the middle (which my coach was in love with hanging recievers out to dry on routes like that for some reason), I suffered a bad knee dislocation, and decided to give football up for my senior year and focus on basketball. Odd thing is... I get bored out of my teeth watching basketball on TV, even though it was the sport I excelled in. Really college football is my biggest love, and the only sport I follow closely enough to really consider myself a fanatic "fan". I find myself watching things like NASCAR, Motorcross, RallyCross, sometimes hockey games and Ranger games when they're on... but really all I'm thinking in my mind.. is .. "I'm just trying to fill the void with all this until college football season finally arrives again". Hahahahaha!! Anyway, we definitely should hook up sometime. I have absolutely no family in Texas, all in Alaska and Oregon... so always looking for new friends that are my kinda peeps down here to chill out with. I gotta nice place, 65 inch plasma flat panel with a surround system, a char grill smoke combo... and I'm only about a mile from 3 trucks stops where I'm at... LOL!!!! So your certainly welcome to come on over anytime and watch some Aggie football. I'm lucky, because Oregon games generally come on later in the evening down here... so I get to watch some of the bigger SEC games all day... then WATCH MY DUCKS IN THE EVENING!!! A bonus for me as a Duck living in Texas. Anyway, I've rambled on long enough here... yap at ya later there Driver. Hammer down, have a great weekend!! Win The Day brother, And by all means.... GIG'EM!!!!!!!!
Not the hockey Ducks... I meant to say.
Hey!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Starrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! lol!!! Forgot to mention that too. I actually like hockey a lot growing up in Alaska like I did. Hated to see the stars go down they did this last year. Ugh!!!! But what an effort to get back in that series eh? Some brutal hits... and I'm Duck fan, but a hockey Ducks!!! So don't get that confused. Hahahahaha!!
Hey there Kyle. It's RubberDuck from the Murray articles. North of Dallas for you too eh??? That's great!!! My wife and I have been here on and off (trucking ya know...lol) for a few years now. I'm actually north of McKinney, and I think it would be awesome to hook up for a game or a few cold ones as the season approaches. I'm a Die Hard Duck and always will be, for nearly 3 decades now... but truly enjoy any offensive minded football, so the Aggies have been a real treat to watch lately. It's actually perty funny... I have a neighbor who is an Oklahoma Sooners fan, one of my trucking coherts from work is actually from Ohio, so he's a big Bucks fan that always like to remind me of the Rose Bowl, and one of the other guys that lives near him his a huge Notre Dame fan because his daughter is attending school there. Pretty diverse here it seems (Longhorn and Aggie fans more populated than any other for obvious reasons)... but truly a fun area to be a college football fanatic... and always nice to meet those that have the open mind to look at things objectively, and actually have a great deal of sense to their comments like you do. So it's actually me, who tips his hat to you sir. LOL!!! Maybe we can get together for a cold one sometime and talk football. You certainly seem like my kinda people. Have a great weekend.
