I grew up on Sand Mountain, in North Alabama. People in Texas think they define football. I know different. People in the Deep South are who make football what it is today - especially College Football. We sit and wait for 9 months every year until the first week of September rolls around, when the leaves just begin to get ready to fall, and a cool breeze sweeps over the field. Finally, it's time to don the armor and take the field. Break out the banners and the car flags - it's football time in The South!! It's as Southern as is our accent. It's a way of life - it's OUR way of life. We're glad the rest of you have gotten on the bandwagon!
