Joseph's Bio
I was born and raised in Cincinnati, Ohio on the East Side of the city in a town called Hyde Park. My earliest memories are that I love baseball. I don't remember back to when I began loving baseball, but only that I don't remember a time where it wasn't extremely important in my foundation.
I moved 150 miles away to Athens, Ohio to go to Ohio University when I was 18. OU was home to Bob Brenly, manager of the 2001 World Champion Arizona Diamondbacks, and Mike Schmidt, Hall-of-Famer from the Philadelphia Phillies. At the end of my freshman year, I broke my leg playing basketball and was house-ridden for two months. I spent those two months memorizing the World Series Champions from every year as well as the Hall-of-Fame classes.
My favorite player was Pete Rose and my favorite team was the Cincinnati Reds, World Champions 1919, 1940, 1975, 1976, and 1990. I live in New York City now and manage a Holiday Inn Express on the West side of Manhattan. Holiday Inn has engaged in an exclusive partnership with Major League Baseball and I anticipate baseball will begin to come back into the mindsets of Americans as economic times ahead are uncertain.
