Phil Perry is a freelance sportswriter based out of the Boston area. He graduated from Georgetown University in 2008 where he was the sports editor of the Georgetown Voice. Since graduating, he's covered everything from high school soccer to NASCAR to donkey basketball for daily newspapers in New Hampshire and Massachusetts. He's currently in the middle of fairly intense, one-sided bromances with Ray Allen, Dustin Pedroia and Greg Monroe.

I though that too when I wrote my original predictions, but via the St. Pete times (through MLBTR), the Braves have expressed interest in Crawford.
(according to a few places outside of the Times, if they can't lock him up, even after picking up his option, for a few years, they'll dangle him this offseason)
