My husband and I own a small motel in a little beach resort town in South Texas. After moving from Lubbock, Texas to our new home, I have found lots of time to follow my favorite sport. I love Nascar and NHRA is a close second. On weekends you will find me searching for news of my favorite driver, commenting in forums and the TV on whatever sports channel is carrying Nascar programs. It gets a little crazy trying to clean rooms, do laundry, answer the phone, balance the books, answer emails and still find time for my passion. On Sundays after everyone has checked out and we are busily cleaning rooms, you will find the TV in each room tuned to the Nascar race. When I get to run inside, I get a chance to watch Nascar Raceview and listen to my favorite driver's scanner. Some day soon, we hope to sell our wonderful motel and become full-time RVers. Our dream is to pull a souvenier trailer for NHRA. What a great life that would be! Travelling across the USA and getting to attend all the NHRA races while making a living. I just wish my husband was a bigger Nascar fan and we could look for a job in that series. Oh well, I'll still be spending all my spare time trying to catch up with my favorite Nascar driver and watch the race each Saturday night or Sunday afternoon during the season.
