Short List

  • Favorite Athletes

Joleon Lescott, Mikel Arteta, Tim Cahill, Jimmy Brennan, Mats Sundin, Curtis Joseph, Zach Thomas, Jason Taylor

  • Favorite Sports Teams

Everton, Toronto FC, England National Football Team, Toronto Maple Leafs, Miami Dolphins

  • All-Time Sports Moment

David Beckham's free kick against Greece to send England to the 2002 World Cup

  • Most Memorable Game Attended

Chile 3-0 Congo; Group Stages of U-20 FIFA World Cup. It wasn't your typical tightly-contested affair but by the end of the game Chile football had won the hearts of soccer fans in Edmonton with their first-class ability. You could see on the Chilean faces that they were having as much fun as the fans did and I can still vividly remember the smiles plastered on everybody after the game--even if you were a Congo fan beforehand.

  • Most Unbreakable Sports Record

50 goals in 39 games by Wayne Gretzky during his glory days with the Edmonton Oilers. If there was one man that could eventually break that record in our generation, it would be Alexander Ovechkin. But until then, it's a record that nobody in the hockey world could touch even if they wanted to.

  • Unitas or Montana?

Dan Marino may never have won the Super Bowl but he'll always be the greatest quarterback of all time for me. He never had the teams that Montana had around him and who could forget the memorable "Fake Spike Game"?

  • Pele or Maradona?

I'll have to go with Zizou (Zinedine Zidane) as I never had the opportunity to see Pele or Maradona play in their prime. I'll never forget the way he walked off the pitch when he single handedly won France the game against England back in Euro 2004. Say what you want about Zidane's headbutt at the World Cup but in my books he's all the way at the top.

Hey Tim—Dave Mo here, a Bleacher Report Community Coordinator.

I've been spending time on our World Football page and read a couple of your old articles. Really on-point analysis...you do good work.

Given that you haven't written in a while, I thought I'd check in and see if you're interested in picking up your coverage again. What do you say?

If not, it would be great if you could give me some feedback on why you decided to stop writing and what we could have done to better serve you. If you wouldn't mind, please shoot me a line at dmorrison@bleacherreport.com with any thoughts.

    Thanks so much,

    Dave Mo

    Tim-

I love your enthusiasm for Everton. We're looking for a Community Leader actually, so keep up the strong work, and who knows what will happen in the following week.

    Keep it up!

Hey Tim, I was going to do an article highlighting the best writers under 18 and was wondering if it would be ok if I featured you as one of the 4-5 writers I use. Let me know whenever you get a chance.
