Sarah's Bio

My name is Sarah and I'm currently finishing up my second year at THE Ohio State University majoring in Communication. I'm not exactly sure what I want to do when I finish, but I'm hoping to have a career in the broadcasting or news industry.

I grew up in a suburb just minutes away from Cleveland, Ohio and I've been raised to be a Cleveland sports fan through and through, no matter how tough it can be at times. I'm lucky enough to have a great pair of parents who took me to Indians, Browns, Cavs, and even Lumberjacks games during my childhood and I really have them to thank (plus my fabulous Uncle Sam and the rest of my obnoxious italian family) for morphing me into the sports fan that I am today.

I really enjoy writing and I figured this would be a great opportunity to improve my skills and my knowledge about the sports I've come to love.

Favorite Sports Teams

Cleveland Indians (and all Cleveland sports teams for that matter) and shockingly enough I don't mind the Minnesota Twins despite them being one of our Central Division rivals.

All Time Sports Moment

There's a lot but most recently it would be the reception Kenny Lofton received last season during his first game back with the Tribe. I also fondly remember my days as a little kid at the old Cleveland Stadium. Oh and anything having to do with Ohio State beating Michigan.. or really any Cleveland team beating anyone from that state up north.

Most Memorable Game Attended

Indians vs. Yankees 2007, the infamous "Bug Game". Also being at the OSU/Michigan game in 2006.

Most Unbreakable Sports Record

Anything seems breakable these days with the right prescription. Just kidding.

    Hey! Thanks for the add. I'm hoping the Sharks won't choke tomorrow, I have tickets to the game...so I'll either be crying out of joy or crying out of dismay. I'm a little nervous, haha. And btw, Patrick Rissmiller is one of my faves, not going to lie. He came in one time at the restaurant I work at and for some reason I was in awe. It was great!

    Hey Sarah, a few of us Indians fans on Bleacher Report are doing a weekly "Tribe Talk" column here where we answer five questions and post it for all to read.
