dan has yet to fill out a bio.
Hey Dan, I have been impressed with Phegley for some time. He has more upside than Flowers does both offensively and defensively. He also strikes out a whole lot less and can drive the gaps better. If he can perform at Triple-A, I expect to see him get some extensive playing time before too long.
As far as Anderson goes, I don't see it. He has had a great spring, do doubt, and did well in a brief stint with the Cardinals last year, but he is a strikeout machine (89 in 347 minor league at-bats in 2012). He is also entering his ninth season in the minors. That is an awfully long time. The window is shrinking quickly for him.
Gimenez is going to be a great backup and should actually push Flowers for playing time at some point.
Is a cockhead a good thing?
I actually have brown hair. The reflection in the picture was from the Christmas decorations last year.
