About Italyun »

Born in New Orleans, La. in 1949 and grew up in a shotgun house around the Carrollton/City Park area. Attended school in New Orleans until 16, when our family moved to Metairie. Became a total New Orleans Saints fan after my very first game...actually it was also New Orlean's first game, as well. The one in which John Gilliam ran back that kickoff return for the team's very first touchdown... I'm still waiting (for over 35 years now) for another "first"... my first New Orleans Saints Superbowl appearance...it's been over 35 long years...(and I don't have another 35 years in me remaining, so)... IT'S GOT TO BE THIS YEAR! C'mon Saints!!
I am now retired and my grandson is 3...he's totally ready to sing " Saints go all the way!"... It's time! We're all ready! Let the season begin! GO SAINTS!
